A martial arts student went to his teacher and said earnestly, "I am devoted to studying your martial system. How long will it take me to master it." The teacher's reply was casual, "Ten years." Impatiently, the student answered, "But I want to master it faster than that. I will work very hard. I will practice everyday, ten or more hours a day if I have to. How long will it take then?" The teacher thought for a moment, "20 years."

Six degrees of separation
Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that, if a person is one "step" away from each person he or she knows and two "steps" away from each person who is known by one of the people he or she knows, then everyone is no more than six "steps" away from each person on Earth.
In nutshell “ we can reach any person of this world by using atmost six connections ”.
When I first heard this term I had no idea about what it is about. Then I consulted my best friend Google and came to know the above definition. Well, it seems true and practical. The world is shrinking at fast pace due to increased social networking, and connectedness.
and on a side note :-
Orkut is based on this concept ..

why are wrong things likeable .. ?
I feel this question is worth giving a thought. We never think of it, we just continue liking “so called wrong things” as we continue living, as we continue breathing, as we continue eating food, as we continue preparing for MBA without finding the answer to “why i want to do MBA” (well, this was on a lighter side).
Getting back to mainstream topic, what I feel is that nobody has the right to decide on someone else’s behalf that something is wrong or right. In every society something is made wrong or right. When something is forbidden then it creates more temptation than anything else. So when the "so-called wrong things" are forbidden or made taboo they create the greatest kind of attraction. The individual must be allowed to sort things for himself; remove the limitation and you remove the urge to do it too. No restrictions no urge to do those things. The only problem is the definition of wrong. Actually there is nothing which can be defined as right or wrong, everything is in its place! That's all.It has very depth meaning in it. In the society we are trained and brought up specifying what is wrong and what is right, we are never allowed explore individually the credibility of this information/belief.
But.. Still this question remains unanswered. More deep I think about it more it gets complicated, some complications are simple but our mind has grown this much complex that it is unable to understand that simplicity.

my FIRST blog ... !!!!
I sometimes used to think about what's so special about First Job, First Salary, First Love, First Child, First Marriage (hehehe) & many other Firsts. What’s there that makes it so special ... might be because. There is only one first in our lives... but there can be many seconds & thirds in life... when it is for first time you are pure, you don't think about failure, you just live it, but when it is for second, third time you are cautious, you are careful, you are more calculative ... Remember there is only one first; First happen only once;
& this is my FIRST blog ... more crap to come ...
